The steel used is high quality 1095 steel. 1095 is a high-carbon tool steel, capable of holding a sharp edge for a long period of time. It is also much tougher than premium stainless steels. It is heat treated and offers a hardness up to 58 HRC. This knife blank is custom designed by us and 100% hand-forged. Blade comes sharpened.
