The tap is manufactured to German Institute for Standardization guidelines and is made from powder metal High Speed cobalt to give you superior performance and an extended tool life. The spiral point design makes the tap great for threading holes all the way through the workpiece whilst the chrome nitride coating helps stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool, ensuring you get a clean, accurate thread.
