Ruben’s Place

At Ruben’s Place, we recognise that transitioning from an in-home or group based early intervention program to school is a crucial phase that requires careful planning for a successful educational start.

Our Intensive Group-Based Early Intervention Therapy Program emphasises building essential school readiness skills through Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). With an impressive 1:2 staff-to-student ratio, we foster skill development and minimise learning barriers, empowering children for a confident start to their schooling.

We deliver structured, intensive group instruction, focusing on group participation, social skills, and independent routines essential for a successful school experience. Children engage in activities designed to:

  • Develop functional communication skills
  • Enhance social interactions with peers and adults
  • Build group participation and school readiness capabilities
  • Practice classroom routines and social play
  • Promote daily living skills such as toileting and dressing

Our program supports generalisation by placing participants in a group learning setting. This helps budding learners overcome barriers and transition smoothly into school. Individualised goals are collaboratively set with parents and caregivers to enhance each child’s unique skill set.

Ruben’s Place thrives on a structured environment, intensive staff-to-student ratios, and evidence-based intervention strategies using the principles of Today’s ABA, to support socially significant outcomes for our learners. Today’s ABA emphasises student safety and well-being, fostering an educational space where every child’s growth is nurtured and supported.

As a registered NDIS provider, participation in our program may be funded through the NDIS, depending on individual plan allowances.
